Susan & John had their wedding at the Garrison hotel Sheffield. The Wedding photography here was to capture the special moments of their day in a small setting with their closest family and friends. It was only a half day wedding shoot for me as I arrived shortly before the ceremony and the wedding photography ended just after the first dance. Though all the special memories had been captured through the photography by that point.
The Garrison hotel Sheffield is a Grade II Listed building. Most noteworthy a former military guardhouse and ammunition base which was completed in 1854. This gives a special mix of spaces throughout the building to have various parts of the wedding. We chose the small outdoor courtyard to have the couple and family shots.
The ceremony was held inside the main room at the Garrison hotel Sheffield where both the meal and first dance were. The wedding photography used a lot of flash to make sure the special moments of the day could be seen.
